With the help of fellow classmate and aspiring DJ, Caleb (Dale Whibley), the girls grow from roommates to bandmates as their group, XO-IQ, becomes a school-wide sensation and they compete for a place in the upcoming school musical, all while balancing music, grades, relationship and crushes.
Everyone in school thinks Jake, Hayley, and Felix are normal, but that’s not really the case. The truth: they’re part of a secret global society known as The Troop. Mr. Stockley is The Troop’s adult advisor, a job he takes very seriously. He keeps Jake, Hayley, and Felix up to date on recent monster activity, and makes sure they have the latest monster-fighting technology.

Dennis and Cheryl divorced when Scout was four, and she moved to Manhattan with her father while Cheryl stayed behind in South Africa. Scout grew up a city girl and loved it. She leaves her home, her friends, her school and her favorite pizzeria around the corner, moving to the other side of the world to live with a mother she has seen only a few times a year, a stepfather she’s met twice, and an excitable half-brother who is as annoying and pesky as a young sibling can be. Not quite her idea of a good time! It’ll take a while for this experience to grow on her!
